The Global Imams Council (GIC) solemnly commemorates the passing anniversary of Grand Ayatollah Sayid Abolqassim al-Khoei, one of the most prominent and revered scholars in the history of Islam. His life was marked by an unwavering commitment to the principles of Islam, an unparalleled dedication to the pursuit of knowledge, and a profound influence on the religious, social, and political landscape of the Muslim world.

Grand Ayatollah al-Khoei was not only a towering figure in Islamic jurisprudence but also a beacon of wisdom and leadership. His scholarly works and teachings continue to inspire millions of followers across the globe. As the leader of the Najaf Seminary, his contributions to the preservation and propagation of Islamic knowledge are immeasurable. His legacy lives on through the countless students he mentored, many of whom have gone on to become leading figures in the Islamic world.

The GIC honours the memory of Grand Ayatollah al-Khoei by continuing to uphold the values he cherished—values of knowledge, integrity, and devotion to the service of humanity.
