H.E. Peer Syed Mudassir Shah

His Excellency Peer Syed Mudassir Nazar Shah is the Sajjada Nasheen (custodian) of Darbar-e-Alia, Pakistan, the co-chairman of the Netherlands-based Universal Sufi council, and the founder and president of Salook, an Islamabad-based Sufi think-tank, established in October 2014.

Mr. Shah has a wealth of knowledge and experience in critical contemporary and regional issues, such as the current religious discourse in Pakistan relating to extremism and terrorism, as well as Baluchistan and Pakistani affairs. He received his early education from Mach Bolan and holds a master’s degree in political science.

His Excellency currently serves as the director of The Global Imams Council’s South Asia branch and operations; promoting religious collaboration, peaceful co-existence, universal brother/sisterhood, as well as inner and outer harmony in the region.
