ELNET’s International Policy Conference (EIPC 2023) took place in Paris between 8-10 of May.
The conference brought together some 500 participants and 70 of the most influential policymakers and leading public opinion-makers from Europe, the US and the Middle East, to discuss and impact the shaping of Europe’s Middle East policy.
The theme of the conference tackled policy areas such as new security challenges, peace in the Middle East, the Russian and Iranian threats, energy and food security, climate change, and Antisemitism.
Keynote speeches were given by Former Prime Minister of France Manuel Valls, Deputy Speaker of the Polish Senate Michal Kaminski, French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire,Vice President of the European Parliament Nicola Beer.
During the Gala Dinner the main event was dedicated to GIC Vice President Imam Mohammad Tawhidi, alongside the Chief Rabbi of France Haim Korsia and Father Father Desbois Patrick.
