We commend the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and local law enforcement agencies for their swift response to these threats, ensuring the safety and security of the targeted institutions and their congregants. The GIC stands in full solidarity with the Jewish community during this distressing time and calls for those responsible to be held fully accountable under the law.

It is imperative that all communities stand together against such acts of hatred and terror. The GIC reaffirms its commitment to promoting peace, understanding, and mutual respect among all faiths and communities. We urge authorities to continue their thorough investigation and to take all necessary measures to prevent such threats from occurring in the future.
